Welcome to Rogers Legal, we are a specialist law firm dealing with private client matters. We opened in 2014, but Trudy Rogers qualified as a solicitor in 2001, specialising immediately in private client law. We concentrate on Wills, tax planning, trusts, asset protection, probate & estate administration, Court of protection issues and elderly care. Having a Will in place will not only give you peace of mind that your wishes will be carried out, but it will also ease the burden on your family.
Tax Planning
IHT and CGT can sometimes be reduced, but as with any tax planning there is usually a swap of one liability for another. For example, paying CGT at 28% instead of IHT at 40%.

Trusts themselves are not necessarily ‘tax efficient’, but they can help to reduce the burden of income tax, inheritance tax and capital gains, depending upon individual circumstances.
